                                 Who Are We?
We are traditional Reiki Masters and members of a global community of Reiki Masters called The Reiki Alliance. The Reiki Alliance was founded in 1983 when a group of masters, trained and initiated by Mrs. Hawayo Takata, gathered to honor her memory and to acknowledge Phyllis Lei Furumoto as Takata's successor as world leader in Reiki. Since 1983, The Reiki Alliance has met annually to deepen the experience of community for its members. The Reiki Alliance has grown from 20 members at its founding to a current membership of more than 700 Reiki Masters, representing 45 countries. 

As teachers of the Usui System of Natural Healing (Usui Shiki Ryoho), we acknowledge the the direct spiritual lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata and Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Grand Masters.  Our mission is to support one another as masters in the Usui System of Natural Healing. As Reiki Masters we are dedicated to the quality and substance of Reiki: the Usui System of Natural Healing. Our practice and teaching represent many years of direct experience, apprenticeship and learning, and a lifelong commitment with our initiating master. We teach the Usui System of Natural Healing or Reiki by maintaining the time honored form. As a community, we share professional standards and a code of ethics. We aspire to live our mastery by realizing the spiritual principles of Reiki in our daily lives, by giving and receiving Reiki treatments, and pursuing our ongoing personal, educational and spiritual growth.
