Miles in 2003-2004, present information about the practice of Reiki in 4 different clinical settings: Reiki in Portsmouth Regional Hospital - this Reiki program was started in 1995. Reiki at the NIH's Clinical Center - Reiki used by Pain and Palliative Care Service to relieve pain and suffering of patients enrolled in clinical research trials. Emergency Reiki: professionals use Reiki in emergency and acute care settings Outpatient Reiki - A non-medical professional collaborates to offer Reiki to patients in conventional health care settings
